Project briefGRANTED PATENT

Translate human movement into a controllable robot system.

I am one of four inventors on Indian Patent 395331, a Humanoid Robot Control System developed at GreyKernel. It was filed in February 2019 and granted in April 2022. My co-inventors are Abhishek Gupta, Devesh Kumar Singh, and Tej Pratap Singh; GreyKernel Technologies India Pvt Ltd holds the patent.

The system uses tracked human movement as an input for robot control. Inertial sensors capture the person’s motion, which is translated into commands for the humanoid robot. This work drew on the motion-tracking and real-time systems we were also using in immersive applications.
