Using a person’s tracked movement to control a humanoid robot.

Inertial sensors capture how a person moves, and the system translates that motion into commands for the humanoid robot. The work drew on the motion-tracking and real-time systems we were also using in our immersive applications.

The patent was filed in February 2019 and granted in April 2022. I am one of four inventors, alongside Abhishek Gupta, Devesh Kumar Singh, and Tej Pratap Singh. GreyKernel Technologies India Pvt Ltd holds the patent.
