My contribution
I helped establish the studio and led its technology work. For Chhota Bheem, I coordinated the alpha handoff and remaining work on sound, balancing, bug fixes, and performance on older devices.

How it works.

System
The team worked across mobile gameplay, character and environment production, and AR interaction. Chhota Bheem’s flight game used simple controls and water collection to support its fire-rescue objective.
Key decisions
  • Keep the flight loop child-friendly through one-button controls, clear collection-and-rescue objectives, and readable progression.
  • Address dialogue pacing, sound, and performance on older devices as part of the work between alpha and release.
Constraints
  • A game for children needs understandable controls and feedback, while still running on the mobile devices available to them.

Looking backPROJECT NOTES

Notes from the project.

  • We handed over the Chhota Bheem alpha in April 2020; Nazara confirmed the Google Play release in October that year.

MysticMojo was our game studio within GreyKernel. I helped set it up and led technology while the team developed mobile and AR titles. The projects gave us room to work on our own characters as well as familiar ones from licensed properties.

In Chhota Bheem Jungle Rescue, the player flies across Dholakpur, collects water, and uses it to put out jungle fires. The controls were kept simple for younger players. Between the alpha handoff and release, the work included balancing the game, finishing sound, making dialogue skippable, and improving performance on older phones.
